Inauguration of “Boya 14 La Comba”, a new Coworking space in the Free Zone of the Port of Santander, in collaboration with the Government of Cantabria, with the aim of promoting young entrepreneurship.

Housed in a renovated former warehouse, its function is to support innovative projects and the development of ideas. This space has 16 workstations and will be managed by the Santander International Center for Entrepreneurship (CISE), which will be responsible for the selection of participants.

 

With the opening of this coworking space, Zona Franca Santander demonstrates its support for training programs aimed at young entrepreneurs under 30 years in order to enhance their skills in areas such as financing or leadership. 

 

During the inauguration, the Vice President of Cantabria and Minister of Universities, Equality, Culture and Sports, Mr. Pablo Zuloaga, wanted to highlight the work developed by the regional government to support the incorporation of young people into the labor market with measures that contribute to promote entrepreneurship and talent, emphasizing that “Boya 14 opens a path of institutional collaboration between the Free Trade Zone of Santander and the Government of Cantabria“.

 

The event was also attended by the General Director of Youth, Ms. Alicia Renedo, as well as Mr. Francisco Javier Fernández Mañanes, as Special Delegate of the State for the Consortium of the Santander Free Trade Zone, in whose facilities this center is located.
