Santander Free Zone Centenary
On November 29th, the commemorative acts of the Centenary of the Santander Free Zone Warehouse were held. In the first place, a conference on Brexit was held in the Chamber of Commerce wich was crowded by different sectors and economic operators, in which the “First Swords” at the national level, headed by the General Director of the Department of Customs and II.EE . of the AEAT (attached program on the conference, with the rest of the speakers), presented the different scenarios in which from now on (March 2019), both Spain and the rest of the EU Member Countries must keep in mind its customs procedures with respect to the United Kingdom and vice versa.
Once the Conference was over, the Centenary events continued at the facilities of the Santander Free Zone, where they were presided over by the Minister of Industry Mr. Francisco Martín, the President of the Consortium Mr. Modesto Piñeiro, the Special Delegate of the State in the Free Zone Mr. Fernando Cámara and the General Director of Customs Mrs. Pilar Jurado. They also thanked all those present for their attendance and those, due to their professional work, who could not attend the event.
In this endearing Act, three videos were viewed on the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE of the Entity, in which all attendees saw passages of this prolific life and its brilliant future.
At the end of the event, a Spanish Wine took place, where the attendees shared anecdotes and experiences that occurred in the centenary Entity.
